Marieta Muradyan who has been living in the kindergarten building on Nerses Msheci street in the city of Yeghegnadzor for years (now it is already a hostel), as well as the three residents also living in the hostel visited Ombudsman’s Vayoc Dzor regional office with an application to restore their rights.
The problem is that the dwellers of the hostel had numerously applied to the Mayor of Eghegnadzor asking to provide them residential space but they received no positive response. Now, when the kindergarten is under construction, the dwellers are concerned that they will be driven out from the hostel.
The Ombudsman sent a letter to the Mayor of Yeghegnadzor concerning the issue of the hostel dwellers. In response to the letter, the latter informed that Marieta Muradyan and the nine families living in the hostel will continue to live in the share allocated to them in the fourth kindergarten on Nerses Msheci Street.
